More Free Wifi
This site has a listing of free wifi access points in Houston.
It also has listings for Austin, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Miami, Portland and San Antonio.
It is not the best designed site but it clearly shows that free wifi is quite widespread and IMO here to stay.
