Another positive sign in the creeping progress of rebuilding the WTC is the submission of 5200 proposals for memorial. The proposals will be reviewed by a 13 (stupid number) member panel and narrowed down to 5 finalists who will be given money to further develop their ideas.
Let's do a little math here. How long does it take to evaluate a proposal Let's say an hour for arguments sake. At that rate they will have the five finalists in something like two and a half years providing they don't take any vacations.
I did say this was a positive sign didn't I?
At least the process is moving along.
