Camelia

I wasn't expecting this but when I got home today there was this spot of color staring at me from the corner of the yard.
We bought this Camelia several years ago and it has never bloomed much but this year it decided to. There are several blooms on it and this was the one that was easy to take a picture of.
It has had these buds on it for several weeks and I thought it would never bloom but happily I was wrong.

I have added a new category for 2004 garden pics since the GGP took forever to load. I will have to find a better long term solution but this will do for now.
