Not Funny

Meryl has a good post just up further defining what she does not like about Allah.

She has some very good points. I have to agree with her that I don't find him that funny either. I guess having the word Jew thrown around in the way he does it just grates on me.

Ask yourself if he was writting about Blacks instead of Jews and was freely using the N-word would you be offended? I know lots of black and whites who would be. I just has a discussion with myself about using it in print instead of saying the N-word which in this context should not be thought offensive. I decided not to, one because I have never used it in speech and I see no reason to start now and two because I know there those who will be offended just seeing it in print.

It is the same with seeing the word Jew tossed around like a beachball. There are so many people who have died just because they were born Jewish, good people, kind people that I find it offensive and very unfunny the way that Allah uses it.
