Fun Reading

My initial splurge of reading has slowed down as I have had to spend more time on the technical stuff. I did manage to finish the second book in the Mike Hammer three pack I bought.

Female characters in these books seemed to have a short life expectancy once they meet Mike. Aside from Velda, his secretary, and a nympho in the first book there have been 6 other major female characters all of whom have been killed off.

Only one of them did he kill but it was either that or marry her, in which case she would have certainly killed him. Sounds a lot like real life.
