Idiots can be rich too

But not for long.
I read this story about a Ponzi scheme that defrauded investors of millions.
The firm's owner is refusing to list his assets claiming that they are covered by the fifth amendment.
What really got my attention was this quote:

How can anyone be smart enough to make 2 million yet dumb enough to give it all to any one person to invest?
Now he is flat broke filing for bankruptcy, and has just found out that he has cancer.
I feel sorry for anyone getting cancer but his financial situation is all of his own making.
Greed and stupidity, they will get you every time.
