![]() January 22, 2004ObsoleteAfter 20 years in the IT business I can no longer get a job because my skills are no longer what the market is looking for. Everywhere I look there are finally jobs opening up but unless you have Dot Net experience you can't even get through the front door. I had always been lucky about this in the past but now that Microsoft has pulled the rug out from under us developers again and you were one of the lucky ones who was working in on a Dot Net project in the last year or so you are screwed. Enough ranting. I have to redouble my efforts to get a Dot Net certification. It might not help but it certainly won't hurt. Posting may be light for a while. |
