Mystery and problems When we

Mystery and problems
When we moved into this house we got water from a well in the back yard when had a broken down well house built falling down around it. We tore it down and built a bigger one around it that my wife was going to use for potting and other garden related things, cost $1500+. The pressure was very poor and we were told that to drill another well would cost 3 or $4,000. About that time we found out that we could get city water and paid about $1600 to run a pipe from the street to the well house and hook up to the house line (No wonder I am broke).
The well house is now using mostly for storage and is surrounded by cinder blocks so the dogs can't get under it. Yesterday I saw an orange tabby under the well house and tried to get it out but after sticking its head out once I have not seen it again. The dogs however have much better senses than I do and last night one of the big dogs managed to get under the well house in search of something and then couldn't get out. This morning my smallest dog took the plunge under there and couldn't get out. Today I have to get some more cinder blocks. I have no idea if the cat is still under there but there might be snakes or rats ( I hate both) under it so I am not going to look very hard.
Something raided my roses last night and I can't figure out what since some of the blooms that got taken off were covered with deer netting.
