My last word on this (I hope)

I have to admit I am not very sure about this whole thing between Kate and Joanie.
Obviously there was bad blood there or at least friction for a while now.

I don't believe that Joanie called child protective services on Kate. Hey I could be wrong but reading everything I could find that is my guess. It was probably one of Joanie's admirers and she really can't be held liable for something some nut case does.
Kate said she is punishing her daughter for her transgression but what punishment is enough? The way I see it she is guilty of reading her mom's mail, posting a nasty comment, using language in said comment that in itself would cause me to wail on my 13 year old daughter if I heard her using it, rotten grammar and bad spelling.
I have to side with acidman's comment that this seems to be enough to warrant the use of a belt, not that I would but it is bad enough to warrant consideration of one.
Of course this is all based on what is available to be seen on the web and taking everyone at face value that they are telling the truth or something close to it.
That is really the problem with a lot of what you read in blogs. You really have no way to determine what the truth is.
This will not be the last incident like this. I said as much during the Moxie/Moxiepop and I don't think this will be the last time hot words are exchanged in print.
Before you know it someone will be accusing Glenn of putting puppies in a blender.
What? Already did that?
